Marjorie Louise Clepper was born November 29, 1937 in her Manchester, Oklahoma home, the daughter of Clester German and Mary Hess German. She passed from this life on May 19, 2021 at her home in Kiowa. Marjorie attended a one room school, Eureka District I, until the end of eighth grade. Then she attended Amorita High School where she received her diploma. Growing up on a farm in the Manchester area, Marjorie learned early to garden, milk cows, can produce, raise chickens, pigs and cattle. She and Glenn J. Clepper were married in Amorita Community Church on June 3, 1956. Marjorie was the manager at Tucker Manufacturing in Kiowa that made the interiors forKenworth trucks. Later, being the hard worker that she was, Marjorie opened her own truck carpeting business. At one time she was manager of the Dairy Queen in Anthony. A devout Christian woman, she attended Rosedale Church of Christ growing up and later in life Marjorie became a member of the Burlington Riverside Church of Christ. Marjorie loved to sew. She made quilts for her grandchildren and matching outfits for holidays. She was a great cook and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchild and great grandchildren.
Those who have preceded Marjorie in death are her parents, Clester and Mary German; siblings, Arnold German, Leola Benson, Lawrence German, Betty German, Lenora German, Leland German, and daughter, Debbie Wiese.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Glenn Clepper; two sisters, Lucille Hodson and Florence Carden; two sisters-in-law, Marlene German and Lorelie Rousseau; children, Robyn (Don) Flanigin, Renae (Ron) Delamarter, Leysa (Brent) Diel; son-in-law, Carl Wiese; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Justin (Debra) Flanigin, Brook; Brandon (Kim) Flanigin, Connor, Liam, Kayleigh; Brett (Jenna) Wiese, Logan, Caleb; Brook (Kade) Keast, Kyden, Kasen; Katelyn Wiese; Trey (Karli) Delamarter, Cooper; Blair (Alex) Dyer, Emma; Abby Wiese; Madison (Jamie) Fowlkes; Brena Diel, and Jenna Flanigin.
Celebration of life service for Marjorie will be Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside Church of Christ in Burlington. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
