Byron

Johnny Jones Cutright was born on December 10, 1956 in Hardtner, Kansas to Joe W. Cutright and Peggy Dorine Jones Cutright and passed from this life on November 22, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma.   Johnny grew up in the Byron area and graduated from Burlington High School in 1975.  He worked for Burlington Co-op and the Alfalfa County Barn and also farmed.  He enjoyed his family and friends immensely.  He recently married Fran Scaia.  In his spare time he loved bike rallies and poker runs with Fran.  He was so fond of and spent so much time with his cattle that they would eat out of his hand.  He enjoyed time around “the pond”, camping, deer hunting, making jerky, and going to casinos.  He was famous for his spicy chili, and he loved anything spicy.  His puppies, Boo-Boo, Raz and Brutus brought him much joy.  Johnny was an active community member and was a member of ABATE – Harley Davidson.  Johnny lived life to the fullest each and every day.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Dorine Cutright, and wife, Katherine Cutright.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Fran; his four children, Kandi Smith and husband, Aaron, Lacie Floyd, Samantha Domnick, Sabrena Cutright and Jacobi Mahoney; nine grandchildren, Kevin Smith, Kelsi Smith, Nolan Benson, Mason Domnick, Dante’ Floyd, Kasidy Mahoney, Gavin Mahoney, Karly Mahoney, and Tootie Kelley; two sisters, Peggy Cutright and Betsy Burks and husband, Vance.
