Don L. Boyer

June 3, 1931 ~ April 7, 2020 (age 88)



Donald Lee Boyer, age 88, passed from this life on April 7, 2020 in Park Hill, Oklahoma.  Don is survived by his daughter, Susan Aluzri and son in law, Jaafar Aluzri of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; his son, Rodney Boyer and daughter in law, Donna Boyer of Midwest City, Oklahoma and his grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Rylan Boyer, and Haley Boyer; great grandchildren, Jordan Aluzri and Jorja Smith; his sisters, Deanne Terry and Jolene Balch and brother in law, Steve Balch along with numerous nieces and nephews.

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; daughter, Diana Lea Boyer; parents, James Boyer and Lucille and Roman Hein. 

Donald was born on June 3, 1931 in Lamont, Oklahoma to parents, James and Lucille (Harris) Boyer. After returning from the Air Force, he moved to Oklahoma City in 1958 but remained a farmer at heart. He retired as Vice President of Finance with Unarco Industries after more than 30 years. 

He enjoyed traveling the open road with Linda in his RV and trips with his Airstream buddies.  His family and friends will always remember him as a kind and generous person.

A viewing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. in Medford with private graveside service to follow at Rosemound Cemetery.  Facebook:  Lanman Funeral Home Inc
