Dale also served as the Wellington Lake Patrol and superintendent officer. After several years of service, he moved to Meghan Coves in Grove, Oklahoma with his wife, Judy. There they enjoyed many years fishing and spending time with friends and family. Dale worked as the Shangri-La janitor and Meghan Coves Security Guard for nine years. He retired and moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma, where he spent many years with his wife, sons, stepdaughters, and grandchildren.
