Cherokee-A memorial service for Sherry Lyons White will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Lanman Funeral Home Chapel in Helena.
Sherry passed away after an illness in Alva. She attended and graduated from Garber High School in 1966 and then joined the United States Air Force. She met and married Vance Davisson of Riverside Iowa, while in the Air Force. She later married George White of Sheridan Arkansas.
She is survived by one son, Jim Davisson; three grandchildren; her father, Howard Jack Lyons of Ames; brothers, Matt Lyons of Woodward and Luke Lyons of Cherokee and one sister, Shonda Martin of Clarendon, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Rumsey Stephens; her eldest sister, Merry Gaye Lyons; her eldest brother, Had Lyons and sister-in-law, Cherri Fallis Lyons.
