Ruth Joan Myers was born on January 27, 1948 in Anthony, Kansas to Harold and Mary Holden and passed away May 6, 2026 in Enid, Oklahoma. Joan spent most of her life in Wakita. Joan was very religious and enjoyed spending time reading the bible and sharing the word with anyone she could. She also enjoyed sewing, writing, music and playing the piano. She worked at the grocery store for Cleda Champion and helped clean her house.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Holden; husband, David Myers; brother, John Holden; nephew, Troy Holden and sister-in-law, Debbie Holden.

She is survived by brothers, Bill Holden and wife, Wanda and Eddy Holden and wife, Rose.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home in honor of the family.
