Rigoberta Aguilar

January 18, 1966 — February 11, 2017

Rigoberta Aguilar, a mother, a wife, a grandma, a sister, but overall a true friend that has left this Earth way too soon. She was many things in her life. She was caring and compassionate; while stern and tough. She was a woman with millions of recipes that were full of love so no one would ever go hungry. She would never let your plate be empty as well as your heart. She did not take no for answer. She was there and supportive no matter the situation. She has left a million memories on the hearts of everyone she touched. She was a woman that would give to anyone who needed it, and always put herself at the end of the list. She leaves everyone in her family with some big shoes to fill, but she knows her family is capable because she raised them well. She filled them with ambition, love, and commitment. She has raised her children the way a mother is supposed to. As saddened as everyone is to see her lose her battle, we are grateful that she no longer has to suffer through the pain. Although we may not understand the reason why she was taken from us at such a young age, we understand that she will continue to care for everyone like she did. She will continue to watch over her family, and lead us all into the right direction. She is gone, however she leaves a trail of memories and love that will never be forgotten.

Those who have preceded Rigoberta in death are: her mother, Eulalia Torres, her father, Claro Torres, her brother, Rodolfo Torres, her sister Rosario Torres, and her grandson, Jesus E. Navarro.
