Okeene-Funeral service for Raymond Kenneth Hauser, 94, will be Friday, January 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns United Church of Christ in Okeene with Pastor Harold Hatt officiating. Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Raymond was born on September 4, 1918 in Loyal to Albert David Hauser and Ella Kline Hauser and passed from this life on January 8, 2013 in Okeene. He graduated from Loyal High School in 1937. Raymond had lived in this area for 94 years. He married Luella Weber on August 3, 1940 in Okeene. Raymond was an aircraft builder for North American Rockwell, while farming southeast of Okeene. He was a member of St John’s United Church of Christ, serving in all church offices. Raymond also served on the Loyal School Board.
Survivors include his children, Arneda Seelke and husband, Dale of Okeene, Arlynn Hauser and wife, Hazel of Oklahoma City, Raedene Peck and husband, Fred of Enid and Ron Hauser and wife, Shirley of Okeene; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Kochenower and Verna Fay DeWitt, both of Kingfisher.
Those who preceded Raymond in death include his wife, Luella; brother-in-laws, Billy Kochenower and Ralph DeWitt.
Memorials may be given to Okeene Ministerial Alliance through the funeral home.
