Patti was born in Enid, Oklahoma to LeRoy and Twyla Tefft on October 24, 1953, and passed away on July 2, 2025, at home in Carrier, surrounded by her loving family. She attended school in North Enid through 8th grade, then began high school at Kremlin, where she was a member of the State Champion Volleyball team. She transferred to Carrier and was part of the State Champion Basketball team in 1970 and graduated in 1971. After high school, she attended Northern Oklahoma College, where she played basketball.
On July 14, 1973, she was united in marriage to Danny Watkins. To this union, five children were born: Bart, Brad, Toby, Cory, and Tricia. She was baptized into the Followers of Christ Church, where she sought to live by Faith. She worked in accounting for many years and finished her career as the Office Manager at Western Enterprises, Inc. of Carrier. Patti was deeply devoted to her family and found great joy in supporting her grandchildren, she stayed busy doing what she loved most: spending time with them and proudly cheering them on at every game and event.
Patti is survived by her husband, Danny of the home; four sons: Bart and wife Tiffany of Blanchard (Cade, Jill, and Cole); Brad and wife Tara of Crescent (Jacob, Jackson, Luke and Remy); Toby and wife Sara of Piedmont (Ella, Ava, Megan, & Aubrey); Cory and wife Ashly of Enid (Creed and Eli); and one daughter, Tricia Dayton and husband Ryan of Helena (Ethan, Ali, and Carter); two sisters Jean Brewer of Pond Creek and Linda Crow and husband Robert of Glencoe; one brother Scott Tefft and wife Beth of Enid; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Twyla Tefft; her granddaughter, Josie Kate Watkins; her brother-in-law, Leon Brewer; and her nephew, Eric Crow.
Directions to Square Cedar Cemetery, from the HWY 412 and HWY 58 junction at Ringwood, OK go 7 miles west to NS County Road 600, turn north continue 3.5 miles, and the cemetery will be on the eastside of the road.
