Michael Lee McCullough

Michael Lee McCullough of Kiowa, Kansas went home to his heavenly Father on July 24, 2026, at just 69 years young. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 21, 1957 to Donald Powell and Carolyn Sue (Swindler) McCullough.

He graduated from Harrison High School in 1975.  Colorado Springs is where he decided to live and raise his family. He was an over the road truck driver for 41 years. Although he was on the road a lot he never missed a Christmas at home with his loved ones. This just shows how great of a family man he was.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years Stephanie Lynn (Dean) McCullough. They were married May 28, 1977 in Colorado Springs.

He is also survived by his faithful friend and companion, Barney; five beautiful children; Andrew Powell McCullough and wife, Meagan of Georgia, Jennifer Jo McCullough and husband, Dusty of Kiowa, Kansas, Joshua David McCullough and wife, Desiree of Spokane, Washington, Jacob Daniel McCullough and wife, Erika of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rebecca Ann Clark and husband, Mike of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eighteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother, Gary of Pearce, Colorado; sister, Cindy and brother-in-law, Ron and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Michael will be Monday, August 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kiowa United Methodist Church in Kiowa, Kansas. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
