Marty Jantzen

Funeral Service for Marty will be Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Center Fellowship in Meno. Viewing will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Helena. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Meno.

Marty was born January 1, 1965 to Autry and Joyce Phipps Jantzen and was Enid’s first new year’s baby of that year. Marty was saved April 25, 2017 and baptized November 6, 2017.

Marty went to school at Ringwood and Pioneer Pleasant Vale. He had worked at Luckinbill and in the oil field.

He loved to be around his family, to go fishing and to cook for his friends; but most of all, he loved to play “Farkle”. He was loved by all who met him and saw his contagious smile and experienced his captivating personality and his big caring, loving heart.

Marty is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Ruby Phipps; his paternal grandparents, Benhard and Velva Jantzen; his father, Autry Jantzen; his step-father, Don Guy; his uncles, Sidney and Zendell Jantzen and Harold Phipps.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Brittain and step-dad, Lawrence; his children, Derrick Jantzen, Haley Battelo and Sidney Jantzen; sisters, Brenda (Kent) Jordan, Audrey (Mark) Seal; niece, Britni (Matt) Skinner; nephews, Tanner Seal (Morgan Nave), Brent Uselton, and Barry Jordan; great nieces, Jaleigh Seal, Cadlynn Nash; nephews, Caysen Garcia, Wyatt Skinner, Zeke Skinner, Slader Seal; uncles, Freddie (Linda) Jantzen, Donnie Phipps; numerous cousins, aunts, great uncles, many, many friends and his dog, Trigger.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Cancer Society or Forgotten Ministries (for homeless) through the funeral home
