Marjorie Hybsha was born five miles east of Medford, Oklahoma on her father’s homestead in January 17, 1930. Marjorie was the oldest sister of three brothers Leon, Kenneth, and Don. Marjorie had many chores on the farm with her brothers, but her biggest duty was keeping the boys out of trouble and making sure they completed their work. Marjorie Graduated from Medford High School in 1947.

Marjorie married the love of her life Robert Fredrick Hybsha on January 29, 1949. Marjorie and Robert moved to Renfrow, OK and began their life together. From this union four children were born: Patty, Kathy, Allen, and Brian. The family moved to Stillwater, where Marjorie would work for Braums for ten years and earn several awards for “Top Store” in the company. After ten successful years with Braums, the family moved one last time to Enid, OK where she successfully managed an apartment complex for several decades. Residents at the apartment complex called her “Grandma Marjorie”.

Marjorie’s life was the definition of hard work and dedication. When Marjorie was not working, she enjoyed Dancing, OSU athletics, Thunder Basketball, and visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hybsha;  parents, Lou Soper and Alice Soper; brothers, Leon Soper, Donny Soper, and Kenneth Soper.

Survived by her children, Patty (Loren) Mennem, Kathy (Aaron) Harrell, Allen (Camy) Hybsha, Brian (Amy) Hybsha; thirteen grandchildren, Brad, Leslie, Kent, Austen, Trevor, Caley, Chase, Joni, Brady, Courtney, Mindy, Shelly, Justin and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Lanman Funeral Home, Medford. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Medford Christian Church with burial to follow at Czech Cemetery in Caldwell Kansas. Memorials may be made out to the Community Health Center of Wakita or the Czech Cemetery through the funeral home.
