Memorial service celebrating the life of Margaret Elaine Cox will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Cherokee.
Margaret was born in Cherokee on April 7, 1960, the daughter of Richard Cox and Wanda Carter Cox. She passed from this life on October 12, 2016 in Enid. She had lived in Cherokee her entire lifetime. Margaret loved to read and had attended the Friends Church. She loved to listen to music and could "name that tune" in a heartbeat. She was Aunt Margie to her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Those who have preceded her in death include her parents, Richard and Wanda Cox; one brother, Stephen Cox; one sister, Kathy Cox Willson; a nephew, Coletonn Cousins.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Theda Cox and Sheri Cousins and Michael West, all of Cherokee; nieces, Brandi Cox Johnston, Stephanie Purcell and Traci Breckbill; nephews, Mark Willson and wife, Alyssa, Chandler Cousins and Shawn Rohrbough and wife, Terri; great nieces, Tallulah Johnston and Jaycee Willson; great nephews, Lakin Willson and Ethan, Devin, and Ashton Dowty.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home on behalf of the family.
