Lynn Clowdus

March 3, 1942 — August 20, 2015

Meno-Graveside service for Lynn will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery west of Meno. Pastor Steve Campbell will be officiating. Viewing will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the family present at the funeral home.

Lynn was born March 3, 1942 in Elmer, Oklahoma, the son of Foy Clowdus and Lenna D. Smith Clowdus and passed from this life August 20, 2015 in Enid, Oklahoma. He attended school in Herford, Texas and graduated from Lahoma High School in 1960. He then attended Oklahoma State University. On July 6, 1962 Lynn and Eileen Veatch were married and they had two children, LeElla and Gene. He was a self-employed welder, a retired Meno volunteer firefighter and a Salt Fork Craftsman of the Artist Blacksmith Association. He attained the 32nd Masonic Degree beginning with membership in Hoyle Masonic Lodge and later became a member of the Ringwood Lodge.

Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, Foy and Lenna D. Clowdus; his in-laws, Laurence and Zella Veatch and granddaughter, Audrey Mae Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Clowdus of Meno; his sister, LaNelle Mueller and husband, Don of Meno; his children, LeElla Clowdus Lee and husband, Chris of Hydro and Gene Clowdus of Cleo springs; grandchildren, Cierra Lee Hughes and husband, Joshua of Stillwater, Cheyenne Lee of Hydro, Laken and Cole Clowdus of Bartlesville and one great-granddaughter in December.

Memorials may be made to GLOW (Lahoma Youth Group) through the funeral home.
