Lisa Ann Coy, passed away on June 6, 2026, in Carmen, Oklahoma. Born on December 17, 1962, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to parents, Don and Barbara Coy.
Lisa was a proud graduate of Minco High School. She furthered her education at Southwestern Assembly of God College, earning her Associate degree, and then went on to complete her Bachelor's of English at USAO. Throughout her academic journey, Lisa’s dedication to her studies was only matched by her passion for the nuances of language, a passion that became a defining charm of her personality. She was a member of the Victory Family Church in Norman.
One of Lisa’s most endearing traits was her delight in correcting grammar, especially on Facebook, where her keen eye for detail and sharp sense of humor kept friends and family both amused and on their toes.
She is survived by her brothers, Gary Coy of Minco, Oklahoma, and Ronnie Coy with his wife, Marsha of Batavia, New York, as well as her sister, Kayla Davidson of Carmen, Oklahoma; three nieces and their families; one nephew and his family.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Barbara Coy of Minco, Oklahoma, and her grandparents, Joe and Edna Coy of Minco, Oklahoma, Jack and Ruth Pendley of Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Lisa Ann Coy’s departure leaves a quiet void filled with cherished memories of her sharp intellect, her warm humor, and the tender love she shared with her family and friends. We hold her spirit close, forever grateful for the time we shared and the lasting impact she made on our lives.
May Lisa's soul find peace, and may the many joyous moments she gifted remain etched in our hearts forever.
Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena, Oklahoma.
