Helena - Linda Ruth Ging, 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She was born to the late Robert and Pauline Carter on July 17, 1949.
Linda had a career in childcare. She enjoyed traveling with her loving husband, spending time outdoors, reading and listening to country and western music. Her grandchildren were her life's joy. She enjoyed attending their numerous school and recreational events. Linda served the Helena community and worked with the elderly at Wheatheart Nurtrition.
Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Dean Ging; two sons, Shannon Ging and wife, Shelly of Midwest City and Jesse Ging and wife, Elizabeth of Edmond; sister, Virginia Palmer and husband, Jerry of Helena; four grandchildren, Baylor, Caden, Gracie and Charli and a number of other relatives and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Katherine "Kathy" Cutright of Amorita.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Helena with burial at Good Hope Cemetery South of Helena. Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love through the funeral home.
