Larry Williams

Lahoma-Graveside service for Larry Eldon Williams, “Papa” will be Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Square Cedar Cemetery with Jim and Clayton Wallace officiating. Viewing is Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Larry was born on February 17, 1942 in Perry to Lennit Esther Williams and Effie Marie Bell Williams and passed from this life on January 24, 2013 at his home in Lahoma. Larry married Judy Lowana Nakvinda in Guthrie. They recently celebrated fifty years of marriage. He worked as a sheet metal specialist in the aircraft industry. He has lived in this area for forty-two years, moving from Guthrie, to Enid in 1967 and to Lahoma in 1971. He worked at Vance Air Force Base for forty-three years, retiring in 2010. Larry was a member of the Lahoma Volunteer Department and the Followers of Christ Church, Ringwood. He was the Mayor of Lahoma for eleven years. Larry helped all of his children throw newspapers all the way through high school. After they graduated he continued to throw the papers another ten years.

Those who are left to cherish Larry include his wife, Judy; children, Aaron Williams and wife, Margaret, Trena Cooper and husband, David, Beth Kanaly and husband, Ryan, Sheldon Williams and Adrienne Wallace and husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Justin, Patrick, Rachel and Mikail Williams, Jay Cooper, Karsen and Reed Kanaly, Sebastean, Spencer, Zeek, Owen and Abigail Wallace.

His parents preceded him in death.
