Judy Ann Martin

Judy Martin ended her battle with muscular dystrophy at the age of 76 Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born November 2, 1946 in Hardtner, Kansas to Robert (Bob) and Opal (Winans) Blevins. Judy passed peacefully at home with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law by her side.

Judy married the love of her life, Carl Martin, on October 20, 1968, in Kiowa, Kansas. Their life together was a loving, wonderful adventure.

Judy liked things as simple as watching the birds in the yard to traveling with family or friends. She loved her immediate and extended family and many close friends.

Judy worked with special needs students as a teacher’s aide in the Sand Springs, Oklahoma School District.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kelly Duane Martin; parents, Bob and Opal Blevins, and brother Jerry Blevins.

Judy is survived by her husband, Carl Martin; son, Chad Martin and wife, Leslie of Midlothian; grandchildren, Chloe Martin, Laine Martin, and Cole Martin; brothers, John Blevins and wife, Connie, Jim Blevins and wife, Beverly, and Jack Blevins and wife, Jenett, and sister-in-law, Vicki Blevins.

Celebration of Life Services for Judy will be held at the United Methodist Church in Kiowa, Kansas on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Immediately following the church services, graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery outside Hazelton, Kansas.  Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa.  www.lanmanfuneralhome.com  Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
