Jimmy Andrew Cook, born on January 20, 1967, passed away on October 7, 2025, in Waynoka. He was a vibrant spirit whose personality could only be described as wild and free, a beautifully untamed soul who cared deeply for his loved ones.

Jimmy married Xantippe in 1987, and from that union was born the keeper of his heart his daughter Talem. Their bond was unbreakable, with Jimmy often proclaiming that he loved Talem more than anything in the world. Together, they created countless memories, notably spending many summers at Canton Lake, a time that garnered warmth and joy in their family life.

Halloween held a special place in Jimmy's heart, and without fail, he delighted in taking his grandchildren trick-or-treating. His love for this festive occasion was highlighted by his his love of donning scary costumes, embodying the spirit of the holiday with enthusiasm. His grandchildren, Jaime Garcia, Yandel Garcia, and Wilder Priest, will dearly miss their beloved grandfather, who brought laughter and excitement into their lives.

Jimmy's love extended beyond family; he cherished his faithful dog, Lucky, who was a constant companion. His interests were varied and adventurous, from hunting and fishing to riding ATVs on the dunes at Little Sahara State Park in his younger years. Each of these interests reflected his love for the outdoors and the thrill of life.

He is survived by his brother, David Cook; daughter, Talem Garcia, and her husband, Hunter Priest; grandchildren, Jaime Garcia, Yandel Garcia, and Wilder Priest; and many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Claude Cook Sr.; mother, Fay (White) Cook; sister, Vickie (Cook) Seiger; brother, Claude Cook Jr.; and brother, Tommy Cook.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and cherished memories that will resonate through the lives of all who knew him. As we reflect on Jimmy's life, we celebrate a wild spirit who touched the hearts of many.
