Jerry Ray Grace was born in Enid on October 7, 1949 to parents Raymond Grace and Mary Shreve Grace and passed from this life on September 26, 2022 at his home near Ringwood. After high school he attended college and attained his Master’s degree in math and science. On November 9, 1986, he and Isabelle Taylor were married in Las Vegas. His career was oil field consultant from which he retired in 2009.
Jerry and family had moved to the Ringwood area from Oklahoma City and for 27 years this was his home. There were many things that brought him pleasure some of which were animals, chickens, guineas, rabbits and dogs. He loved watching sports especially OU football and OKC Thunder. Good meals were important, and his favorites were seafood and steak. He liked to put balsamic vinegar on everything. His grandkids were very important to him. He got great comfort in wearing his own boots at all times of the day or night.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Grace and his daughter, Maci Grace.
Those left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his wife, Isabelle Grace; his mother, Mary Grace; his children, Amanda Easter, Mindy Porter, J. R. Grace and Lauren; grandchildren, Franklin Porter III, Wyatt Porter, Madilyn Grace, Arianna Easter, Annabelle Easter and Alex Easter; his sister, Teresa Grace.
There will be a graveside service for Jerry on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Ames Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.
