Everett "Bun" Rowe

November 20, 1935 — February 21, 2022

Everett “Bun” Vernon Rowe of Fairview passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, after a lengthy hospital stay. He was a long-time resident of Fairview.  Bun was born on his grandparents’ farm east of Aline on November 20, 1935, to Ethyl and Everett Rowe. An avid horseman, Bun was a founding member of the Fairview Wranglers Roundup Club. He spent many hours working the arena and running the roping chute for the Wranglers’ Rodeo each July. He loved to help stock contractor Charlie Plummer with the rodeo stock. One of his favorite memories was driving his wagon and team of gray ponies in the rodeo parade with Reba McEntire at his side. He also enjoyed coyote hunting with his greyhounds and going to the sale barn.
