Everett Pekrul

October 30, 1930 — July 10, 2015

Ringwood - Funeral service for Everett will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ringwood High School Gym. Viewing will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the family present from 2:00 until 4:00 at the funeral home.

Everett was born on October 30, 1930 in Carnegie to Henry and Carrie Koehn Pekrul. He went to McWillie Grade School and finished high school in Helena. Everet served int eh United States Marines during the Korean Conflict for two years. He married Shirley Davidson on April 8, 1955 in Carwile. To this union five children were born: Chuck, Doug, Rick, Felicia and Terry. Everett and Shirley celebrated 60 years of marriage in April of 2015. Everett was sco-owner and operator of Davidson Cement and Lumber Yard. After he retired from the cement business, he did maintenance for teh Town of Ringwood for six years. He was also a volunteer firefighter in Ringwood for eighteen years and had served as Fire Chief. Everett loved to play on his mondolin and work in his wood shop. He was a member of the Ringwood First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Henry and Carrie, son, Doug; two brothers; two sisters and great granddaughter, Madison.

Everet is survived by his wife, Shirley of Ringwood; sons, Chuck Pekrul and wife, Cindy of Ringwood and Rick Pekrul of Ringwood; daughter, Felicia Schmidt and husband, David of Ringwood; son, Terry Pekrul and wife, Tami of Mannford; daughter-in-law, Cindy Pekrul of Enid; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Ringwood Fire Department, the Ringwood Masonic Lodge or the Ringwood Lions Club through the funeral home.
