Cleo Springs - Memorial service for Hazel E. Dyer (Dottie), 72, will be Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Cleo Springs United Methodist Church.
Hazel was born June 22, 1942 in Cherokee to Roy L. and Zirtha (Wilcox) Morris and passed away on October 16, 2015. In 1961 she married Gary L. Carter. To this union three children were born. Gary preceded her in death in 1977. In 1981 she married Jay Dyer. They enjoyed 23 years together before he passed in 2004.
Hazel is survived by her three children, Gary L. Carter of Carmen, Patricia Carter of Waukomis and Tamila Carter of El Reno; three grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Tom Morris of Wichita and Don Nave of Houston as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and her stepmother, Thelma Morris.
Hazel selflessly donated her body to science
