Curt was born December 12, 1950, in Cherokee, to Raymond and Ruby Kunzman and passed away May 22, 2019, in Edmond. He lived in the Cherokee area his whole life. He worked as a truck driver for the oilfield industry until his retirement in 2017. He was on the city council and, as a member of Cherokee United Methodist Church, he served on several church committees. Service was his love language and it showed as he was the handyman for everyone at church. He loved giving gifts as well, sometimes giving double just to make sure everything was covered. His family and grandkids were his life. He enjoyed woodworking in his shop, feeding birds and squirrels, and he loved animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruby Kunzman, and sister, Joan Green
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kunzman; four children: Kent Kunzman and wife, Hollie, Michelle Morford and husband, Ken, Michael Jones and wife, Sarah, and Melissa Tucker and husband, Marc; grandchildren: Alissa, Kylee and Jenna Morford; Catelyn, Caleb, Cara, and Callie Jones; Gavin, Gabriel and Adriana Tucker; and Kent’s dogs.
Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church Building Fund through the funeral home.
