Cathy Jo LaBrue

Cathy Jo LaBrue was born on March 23, 1958 in Perryton, Texas and passed away on July 9, 2026 at her home in Cherokee. Cathy had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening as well as fishing and collecting antiques. Throughout her life she worked for a sale barn, was a hairdresser and most importantly cared for her daughters and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lillie Holdeman and grandson, Cameron Sutton. As well as Melinda Holdeman.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amber Bouldin and Cassandra Murray and husband, Jerrod and three grandchildren, Alexus Shields, Bentley Bostwick and Brixton Bostwick. Her brother, Kenny Holdeman and her sister, Sheryl Weltha.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, and she will always be remembered for her straightforward nature and never being afraid to speak the truth.
