Bret Swafford

Bret Swafford, 49, passed away February 3, 2018. Bret was born July 19, 1968 in Newton, Kansas to Melvin and Sharon Swafford. He lived most of his life in Kiowa.

Those who have preceded him in death are his grandparents, Ed and Dorothy Doherty and Carl and Donna Swafford.

Bret is survived by his parents, Melvin and Sharon Swafford; his sons, Brett Swafford and wife, Nicole of Olathe and Eric Swafford and fiancé, Elisabeth Hall of Wichita; grandson, Kedrick Swafford; sister, Kristi Huslig and husband, Vaughn of Andover; brother, Brian Swafford and wife, Jamie of Wichita and nephews, Landon Huslig and wife, Candace, Carson Huslig, Peyton Huslig, Justin Swafford and Jared Swafford.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Kiowa. There is no viewing.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Swafford Grandchildren Education Fund through the funeral home.
