Bonnie Stanley

Bonnie Stanley, a devoted farmer's wife and loving mother, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the Greenbriar Nursing Home. Born on January 19, 1937, in Jet, Oklahoma to Sylvester "Buck" Hopkins and Clara (Jett) Hopkins .

Married to her childhood sweetheart, Billy Stanley, on June 18, 1955, Bonnie shared a beautiful partnership that spanned decades. Together, they cultivated not only their farm but also a deep and nurturing love for one another. Bonnie carried with her the memories of their life together, remembering him fondly.

Bonnie was a proud advocate for youth and community development, serving as a leader in numerous organizations. Her accomplishments included being a 4-H leader, presiding over the FFA Mothers Club, and actively participating in the Home Demonstration Club. She also dedicated her time to playing the piano at her church and served as a Cub Scout Den Mother, influencing and shaping the lives of many young individuals.

She leaves behind her family: sons Gib Stanley and his wife Shelly of Nash, and Trigg Stanley and his wife Kim of Enid; daughter Shawn Collins and her husband Dale of Jet; grandchildren, Lucas Reinhart and his wife, Bailee, Lacey Johnson and her husband, Levi, Logan Reinhart and his wife, Tiffany, Sadie Ivy and her husband, Blake, T.J. Stanley, Lindy Cronister and her husband, Justin, and Carsan Jones and her husband, Keaton; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren Lilly Johnson, Ella Johnson, Callen Johnson, Audrey Reinhart, Kelce Ivy, Halen Stanley, Rhett Jones, Cade Cronister, and Hadlea Cronister.

Bonnie is also survived by her loving sisters, Bertie Farabee, Edna Mae Lambert, and Loretta Williams.

She was predeceased by her husband, Billy Stanley, and her parents Buck and Clara Hopkins.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Jet, Oklahoma, starting at 10:00 a.m.
