Betty Reinhart

Betty Lou (Atkinson) Reinhart passed away peacefully early on the morning of September 19, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Lanman Funeral Home Chapel. Betty was born to Paul Forest and Louise (Bratcher) Atkinson on April 11, 1934 at home and was their only child. Betty married Jackie Lee Reinhart on June 5, 1951. God blessed them with 58 years of marriage.

After they married, they lived in Enid where their three children were born: Jacqueline Jean (Jackie), Barbara Kay, and Ramine Paul. They then moved out to the country near Goltry by Jack’s parents, Ralph Raymond and Thelma Violet (Myers) Reinhart, and remained in that area until their children had graduated from high school. She worked at several places throughout her life with her final job being a medical transcriptionist beginning in 1975 at St. Mary’s Hospital until she retired in 1999. In the 1980s, they moved from Goltry to Helena to assist in the care of her mother after her father passed away. In 2000, they moved to Mooreland to be near their son Ramine and daughter Jackie. After the passing of Jack, she began living with her son and daughter-in-law.

When her son and daughter-in-law moved to Enid in 2011, she moved with them but still longed to be back in Mooreland as she had made many friends while living there. She returned to Mooreland at the end of 2012 to live with her daughter Jackie. During her years in Mooreland, she attended the Quinlan Methodist Church where she participated in their services and assisted at their public events to raise money for their ministries.

She is remembered by her daughter, Barbara Ludwyck and husband, Joe of Yukon and son, Ramine Paul Reinhart and wife, Mary Jo (Jody) of Mooreland; five grandchildren, Chad Eugene Greb and wife, Tara, Melyssa Jean Richey and husband. Jackie, Zackary Allen Singleton, Micah Nicole Spena and husband, Gregory Spena, Sydney Sean Reinhart; five great-grandchildren, Sadler Jack Greb, Austin Allen Singleton, Kaitlyn Nicole Thomas, Abery Rae Thomas, and Jacob Paul Spena.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack, and daughter, Jackie.
