Adrian Rangel

July 8, 1949 — January 1, 2016

--------------

Adrian was born on July 8, 1949, in el Rancho La Palmita, Rioverde San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

He was the son of Blas Resendiz Galicia and Maria del Pilar Rangel. Adrian was a man with a purpose to move forward, and to take his family to higher places. He was an agricultural man. He enjoyed working very much and was an honest man. His life was not easy, at a young age he began to suffer many obstacles that life brought upon him. But nothing could stop him, he was like a palm tree in that when knocked down he got right back up again. He grew up to become a great, young, happy, hardworking man. Then came the opportunity, in which he met the one whom God gave him to be his wife and mother of all his children.

He lived in La Palmita until some of his children grew up and then like many others, he too came to the United States in search of the "American Dream." He wanted to provide for his children and wife and give them a better life. He was in Florida for some time working and after a while there he moved to Colorado along with his brother, Trinidad. When harvest time was over he would pick up and go back to his home country to be with his family, and everyone was very happy to see him return. Everyone was happy to hear him whistle, sing, and also enjoyed watching him write songs and poetry while making people laugh.

Until one day on March 3rd a terrible tragedy happened and Adrian Resendiz almost lost his life. But because of the fact that he was a strong man he was not going to give up. He suffered but fought hard to survive. He was hospitalized in San Antonio, Texas fighting with all his strength to stay alive and he did just that. After some time he was moved to Big Spring, Texas, where he lived with his sister Susana Diaz for a few months. Later he went to live in Ringwood, Oklahoma in July 1990, with his sister Panchita Melendez until July 2002. That is the year he was able to be united with his family after they came from Mexico and they settled in Meno, Oklahoma.

There is where he found joy and happiness and never stopped singing. And so the years went and on one very special day Adrian accepted The Lord Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Adrian leaves us with beautiful memories, some sadness and pain. But we know in our hearts that he is with the Lord where there is no pain. Now he is rejoicing in the Presence of the Lord. Goodbye Husband, Goodbye Father, Goodbye Grandpa and Goodbye Brother. We will always remember you until the day that we shall see you again. Enjoy the home of Our Lord!

Adrian is survived by his wife Serafina Resendiz Donjuan and his children, Ma Rosario Navarro, Elia Salomon Resendiz, Antonio Resendiz Donjuan, Teresita de Jesus Jimenez Resendiz, Beatriz Adriana Muoz Resendiz, Ramon Resendiz Donjuan, Rosalinda Navarro Resendiz, Ma Pilar Lopez Resendiz and Perla Maria Hernandez Resendiz, and his grandchildren, Jessica, Noemi, Tony, Esmeralda, Saul, Adrian, Angel, Guadalupe, Iram, Daniel, Blanca, Johana, Antonio, Alexa, Litzy, Lizzet, Lesly, Josue, Jonathan, Tony, Emily, Jaeme, Kasey, Gabriel, Ulises, Belinda, Adriel, Allison, and Daniel, and his great grandchild Jesse. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Susana, Domingo, Diego, Francisca, Nicolas, Luis, Blanca and Juan Carlos.
