Adina Wiebe

Adina Bernice Wiebe was born June 21, 1924 in Medford to Abraham Wiebe and Anna Buller Wiebe and passed from this life on November 18, 2019 in Newton, Kansas.   Adina grew up in Medford and lived there until five years ago moving to Newton, Kansas.  She touched so many throughout her 95 years.  Her fifty years at what is now Bank 7 was one of the highlights of her life.  Many stories were told in that break room. Bowling was a passion for many years and she loved to travel all over the United States with Tilly, Anna, and other friends.  She loved to come to Wichita to visit and shop.  She will be greatly missed.

Those who preceded Adina in death include her parents, Abraham W.  and Anna Wiebe; her brothers, Ben Wiebe, Edward Wiebe and wife, Edith, Martin Wiebe, Arnold and wife, Evelynn, and her sister, Matilda Melinda Wiebe.

Survivors include her nephews, Paul Wiebe and wife, Debbie of Wichita, Kansas and Joe Wiebe of Gilcrest, Colorado; nieces, Ruth Wiebe York of Saint Paul, Minnesota and Lynette Strimple of Denver, Colorado.

Graveside service for Adina will be Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Mennonite Cemetery north of Medford.  Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Medford.  Viewing will be Friday      from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   www.lanmanmemorials.com  Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
