Graveside services for Ada Irene Miller Reves, 95, will be Monday, August 3, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery, Kiowa.
Ada Irene Miller Reves was born January 21, 1920 at Alva, Oklahoma to Leonard Harrison Miller and Pauline Keitel Miller. She passed away peacefully July 29, 2015 in Arvada, Colorado.
She spent her childhood years on the family farm near Kiowa, Kansas and attended the rural school of Mulberry Center in Woods County, Oklahoma. She graduated from Kiowa High School in 1937. She graduated from Venus Beauty Academy in Wichita, Kansas in 1940 and worked as a beauty operator in Wichita.
Her hobbies were sewing, cooking, reading, walking and swimming. She was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church in Aurora, Colorado. She was married to John Lloyd Reves April 5, 1942. They lived in many places during his career with the FCC, including St. Louis, Missouri, Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Grand Island, Nebraska. He passed away July 20, 1979.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister, and granddaughter, April Kay Reves.
She is survived by a son, John C. Reves of Saline, Michigan and a daughter, Patsy J. Earl of Arvada, Colorado. She also leaves four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
