Londa Joy Fischer, 66, of Hazelton, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2022 in her home. Londa was born in Kingman, Kansas, to Alvin “Dale” and Wilda Williams. She attended school in Kiowa, Kansas. Londa married Eugene Fischer on December 9, 1978 in Sharon, Kansas. She held various jobs throughout her life consisting of Farmers Cooperative (O.K. Coop), HiPlains Marketing, and M&S Trucking. Londa retired on September 29, 2022 with plans to travel, spend time with kids and grandkids, many house projects, and beg for great-grandkids. She was very involved in her communities by teaching Sunday School at St. John Catholic Church for approximately 30 years, coaching softball, serving as a city council member for Hazelton, Kansas, and helping Eugene with the secretary position at the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. She was a member of the Ladies of St. John, and helped with a million concession stands over the years.  Londa loved reading a good book, playing cards, painting, and most of all, spending quality time with her beloved family and dear friends. Her grandkids were her pride and joy. She spent countless hours and miles attending their various activities. Some of the things she loved to do with them was “kidnapping” each kid individually for a week, baking endless desserts, schooling them in foosball and ping-pong, outdoor activities, teaching swim lessons, and late-night hot tub chats.

Londa is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin “Dale” and Wilda Williams.
